Dr. Armstrong has served on the editorial boards of major scientific journals and is a staunch advocate for dermatology, having held leadership roles in the American Academy of Dermatology, National Psoriasis Foundation, GRAPPA, International Eczema Council, and IDEOM. Before joining UCLA, Dr. Armstrong was Associate Dean for Clinical Research at the University of Southern California. She earned her MD, MPH, and completed dermatology residency at Harvard.
